Like every year the Akhtars kept up with their tradition by calling all the near and dear ones for the celebration of Holi

Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar started celebrating Holi at 10am in the morning.

Several known faces from the glamour world were invited to rock the party and make it more festive. Shabana and Javed Akhtar came out to party sporting a turban – which we thought was a great idea to save the hair from getting multi coloured.

Farhan Akhtar was the first to enter the party with his with Adhuna. Dia Mirza entered the small party with her beau Sahil Sangha. Ali Fazal started parting even before he entered the part zone; he was seen applying colour on kids right outside Javed Akhtar’s house. Richa Chadda, Aditi Rao Hydari, Divya Dutta, Sharad Kelkar, Tanvi Azmi, Nandita Das, Ketan Mehta, Deepshika Nagpal, Tisca Chopra, Ila Arun and several other faces stopped by at the party.

From what we hear the party went on till late in the afternoon. Everyone was high in spirits especially the host and hostess of the party. Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi later came out to meet and pose for the paparazzi waiting outside the venue.
