Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid’s Diya Aur Baati Hum completes 1000 episodes!

The much loved family drama has now achieved a new milestone in its journey. Way to go!

Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid’s Diya Aur Baati Hum has been ruling the TRP charts since its inception and there’s no stopping that. A story about Sandhya ( played by Deepika), a girl hailing from a small town who fulfills her childhood dream of becoming an IPS officer, the series proved to be a hit owing to its concept and has encouraged many women to achieve their goals across the nation. The show came under major scrutiny following the slapgate controversy between its lead actors Deepika and Anas. As informed EXCLUSIVELY by us earlier, Deepika had slapped Anas, claiming that the latter had touched her inappropriately during one of the shoots. The matter, however, was soon resolved by CINTAA and we hear hatchets have been buried between the two. The actors now have a reason to celebrate as their show has completed a 1000 episodes!
