Confirmed: Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Rishi Kapoor to star in Karan Johar’s Kapoor and Sons

The Dharma head honcho revealed this information on popular social networking site Twitter…

Since morning Karan Johar has been clarifying about his upcoming projects. First, he denied roping in Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan for the remake of Ram Lakhan to be directed by Rohit Shetty and now he has confirmed the star cast of his other production venture which is titled Kapoor and Sons. Johar tweeted few minutes back ,”KAPOOR and SONS starring @S1dharthM @_fawadakhan_ @aliaa08 and @chintskap @KapoorAndSons @DharmaMovies.” Yes, this means we’ll indeed get to see the Khoobsurat actor sharing screen space with Ms Bhatt and Sid. Not to forget, Ranbir Kapoor’s daddy dearest Rsihi Kapoor has also be roped in this project which will be helmed by Skaun Batra.

Apart from the star cast, Johar also tweeted about his upcoming production venture’s story line. He wrote on Twitter, “A modern family film with a love triangle embedded in it…KAPOOR and SONS directed by @shakunbatra.”

Considering there are two heroes and one heroine, the love triangle angle was obvious, right? While we are glad that Alia, Sidharth and Fawad are coming together for a film, we dunno when Kapoor and Sons will hit the screens. Let’s hope the Bombay Velvet baddie soon reveals the release date too!
