Already a heartthrob of the nation and arguably the most popular Bigg Boss contestant by far, Gautam Gulati recently took to Twitter to share his happy news. The television actor has signed his first Bollywood film. Rumours that Farah Khan might have offered Gautam a role in her upcoming venture have been making the rounds for quite some time now. Looks like it might just be true.
No revelations about the film, co-star or filmmaker have been made by Gautam yet but many believe that the actor has cracked a big deal. It isn’t really a surprise though. A few days after he lifted the BB8 trophy, Gauti announced that he is done with television and will now be shifting his focus to films. Even during his stay at the Bigg Boss house, it was being hinted that Gautam had been offered 11 films and 2 documentaries.
With this development, Gautam has become the latest TV actor to join the brigade of small screen stars who turned to B-Town to try their luck. Over the years, Rajeev Khandelwal, Indraneil Sengupta, Aamna Shariff, Sara Khan and Aashish Chowdhry, among others, have moved to Bollywood. Unfortunately, none of these have been able to make a mark in tinsel town and have gone back to TV. Let’s hope Gauti’s luck is better.
We, for one, can’t wait to see Gautam recreate the Bigg Boss magic and ntertainment on the big screen!
