Ayushmann Khurrana-Bhumi Pednekar’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha copy of Naseeb Apna Apna, claims Rishi Kapoor

The veteran actor posted on Twitter that YRF’s latest outing is a better version of his 1986 film Naseeb Apna Apna…

Ayushmann Khurrana and newbie Bhumi Pednekar have been in the news ever since their film Dum Laga Ke Haisha released on February 27. The two have been receiving accolades for their performances in the romantic drama which is directed by Sharat Katariya. While the film has managed to impress the critics and audience alike, Rishi Kapoor on the other hand feels its similar to his film Naseeb Apna Apna. The Agneepath baddie wrote on the popular social networking site Twitter, “Dam laga ke haisha is a better version of my film Naseeb Apna Apna. Remember the curved “choti” of the village girl? Me forced to marry?

Ranbir Kapoor’s daddy dearest also tweeted a still of Naseeb Apna Apna and wrote, “See the curved choti lol. This is Naseeb Apna Apna. Radhika,Farha Naz (Tabus sister)and myself. Was a successful film.”

While the basic essence of both the films – Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Naseeb Apna Apna – maybe same, the latter had love triangle angle to its story. Also, Naseeb Apna Apna was a remake of Tamil film Gopurangal Saivathillai. So technically Dum Laga Ke Haisha is inspired from the South film!
