Anushka Sharma angry that heroines are not taken seriously!

Anushka Sharma had expected to be blamed for Virat Kohli’s low performance at the World Cup 2015 semi finals. However, the actress points out that the real problem lies in the fact that heroines are looked down upon. Recently when the actress visited a hospital in Mumbai for her back issue that started on the sets of her last released movie, rumours started doing rounds that the actress suffered after her outing in Australia.

Yes, in a recent interview to a leading glossy the actress said, “I had a back problem so I’ve been going to the physiotherapist at the Kokilaben Hospital. Someone took a picture when I was getting out of the hospital. Now they’re making it seem like I developed the back problem after my trip to Australia. I was like WHAT? What does my back problem have to do with my Australia trip? People are obsessed and they want to go on and on about the same thing.The back problem happened on the NH10 set.”

The actress continued, “You don’t do that to a male star. It’s because they don’t take heroines seriously. They assume we should be answering questions about our personal lives because that’s the only exciting thing about us. It’s not. That’s why I don’t choose to talk about it. Because we take our work seriously. And if you don’t understand the seriousness of my work, why should I answer your questions? I don’t hide my relationship.”

Post the match day before Anushka and Virat’s relationship became the talk of Twitter town. Many on social media including a certain annoying Kamaal R Khan put out hate tweets against the actress. While Anushka found haters, she also found a sea of support many of who were celebrities like Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and even the southern film fraternity stood by her. Ex captain Sourav Ganguly too voiced his opinion against Anushka haters in strongly worded statement during an interview.

Anushka and Virat returned to Mumbai after India’s World Cup defeat and the couple walked hand-in-hand. Clearly, the post semis aftermath has only made this relationship more strong, right BollywoodLifers?
