The petite babe turns 22 today…

Alia Bhatt, born on March 15, 1993, is one of the most prolific actresses of the film industry in the present day. Daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, she made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. She moved ahead to give some of the most brilliant performances last year.

Highway, directed by Imtiaz Ali, made her a favourite among the critics and her performance was loved tremendously. Then she moved on and did 2 States, which made her the hot favourite among the college going masses. Later she did the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which made the audiences relive the famous romantic tale of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge once again. Also she was there in a blink and a miss appearance in Anurag Kashyap’s Ugly, which went to become a massive hit with the critics. She will soon be seen in Vikas Bahl’s Shandaar and Udta Punjab. She also has an untitled film opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the offing. She won the most promising female for her debut film SOTY and even this year, she has been a hot favourite at the awards season.
