Sanjay Gupta has made our day by revealing the release date for his upcoming venture Jazbaa starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Fast becoming one of the year’s most speculated and awaited releases Jazbaa is slated for an October release – 9 October, 2015 to be very precise.
Sanjay had set the rumour mill churning by hinting on Twitter that 9 October 2015 would be an “important day” for him. Earlier today, he confirmed the news via his Twitter account
We are super duper excited, to say the least. Jazbaa marks Aishwarya’s silver-screen comeback after a gap of 5 long years. The actress is looking just as stunning as she did before going on a hiatus (extended maternity leave?). The yummy mummy has been busy shooting for the film since February.
In addition to Aish, Jazbaa stars Irrfan Khan, ShabanaAzmi, Abhimanyu Singh, AtulKulkarni, AnupamKher and Chandan Roy Sanyal *phew*.
Jazbaa is reportedly a remake of the South Korean thriller Seven Days and Ash will reportedly play a lawyer, and a very kick-ass one at that. The Bachchan bahu has undergone massive training for the film’s action sequences and has not used a body double for the stunts, which means that we will see Aishwarya in a whole new action-packed avatar. Why isn’t it October already?
