In return, the Master Blaster has also promised a treat for those who suggest the best names.
Speaking about the 'naming ceremony' of the 'docu-feature', Sachin said, "There is something very special in store for the ones who come up with the most ideal title for my movie. I am waiting to hear from you." This mega project is conceived by the Mumbai based production company '200 Not Out', which, to its credit, has produced over 200 advertisements and short films. This production company, which has been filming Sachin's journey for the past few months, is in the process of collecting reels of archival footages. The firm has also roped in the London based award-winning writer, director and producer James Erskine for directing the film. For starters, James is the very film maker, who had directed One Night in Turin and Battle of the Sexes (a film which captures the story of the most watched tennis match ever between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs) and Pantani: The Accidental Death Of A Cyclist (a film on Marco Pantani, the most flamboyant and popular cyclists of the 90's).
Meanwhile, Ravi Bhagchandka (Founder- 200 Not Out) said, "It is our honour at '200 Not Out' to work on this unique initiative. As a young passionate team, it is our commitment to present the viewers 'never seen before' facets and footage on the Master Blaster. We decided on working with James Erskine after studying the many incredible films involving sports personalities. This will be the first time that he will be working in this part of the world. We will work with the best in the business for the film to be a fitting tribute to the unparalleled achievements of Sachin Tendulkar."
With this docu-feature film, Sachin Tendulkar will become the first Asian to join other personalities like Micheal Jackson and Aryton Senna, whose lives have been captured in theatrical releases.
