As the birthday girl turns a year older we take a look at some of the most gorgeous style statements she made…
Shraddha Kapoor is the pretty young thing we are all crazy about.
From her pretty face, to her gentle eyes and her acting talent, there is not one thing we don’t love about this girl! Her acting chops are at par with her singing talent which makes her even more desirable. I’ve been seeing Shraddha dress up like a doll for quite a long time and I can tell that she likes to be edgy and chic with her clothes. She always dresses young which is the best quality about her fashion statements and often there have been chances when she has truly shined by virtue of being experimental! Let’s take a look at 5 looks from the ABCD 2 actress which totally bowled us over…
This first look is pretty recent. She sported the androgynous look and the French twist top bun for GIMA awards where she was awarded for the Best Music Debut. I love how she has power-dressed in the Sandro pantsuit and the Cue crop top. She has still managed to look demure! The Koesch neck-piece is a steal and that hair-do is a winner! Bravo for daring to dress differently!
The next look is from Badlapur’s success party where Ms Kapoor wore a Miss Sixty dress teamed with Topshop peep-toe boots. What I love most about this look is the party girl feel to it! The fitted dress sits brilliantly on Shraddha’s petite frame and she doesn’t clutter the look with any accessories. Clean, chic, amaze!
Now the next look is so far one of THE best looks from the ABCD 2 actress. She wore that dual-toned Shivan and Narresh saree to Arpita Khan’s wedding reception. While some were of the opinion that Shraddha was under-dressed, I completely disagreed! What does a young, spunky girl who has to dress traditionally but with a twist, wear? I was inspired by that look! Full points…
The next look is from a Filmfare event where Shraddha dressed in monochrome. While many thought it was a dress, it was actually an Osman top and an Anand Bhushan skirt. Now a lot was happening around the waist so Shraddha decided to keep it simple upstairs with just a simple ponytail and muted make-up. One tends to go OTT with monochrome, but Shraddha wore it like a boss. I specially liked the Lamb sandals with the outfit.
The last look is one of the best ones as it is not just casual but really easy to wear by a regular person in their daily life as well! The grunge look was made of a grey tank top, chunky earrings, printed harems, a brown belt, a pair of oxfords and to punctuate it all a denim shirt. Any college-going girl can throw this look on. That’s what makes Shraddha a perfect fashion idol for the younger girls who wish to dress like a star without looking OTT!
