Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Rishi Kapoor have been roped in by Karan Johar for Kapoor and Sons. Rumours suggest that Fawad, Alia and Sid will play siblings in the film but apparently that might not be the case. Here are 5 things we’d like you to know about the Karan Johar film…
# Karan Johar tweeted, “A modern family film with a love triangle embedded in it…KAPOOR and SONS directed by @shakunbatra…..cast coming up next…” So there is a love triangle in the film but it may not necessarily be with Alia, Sid and Fawad. So the off-screen lovebirds Alia and Sidharth might end up playing siblings! Fawad and Sid are reportedly playing brothers, that is all we know for now!
# This is Fawad’s first film with Dharma Productions, which is a pretty big deal considering he is just one film old in Bollywood!
# Either Fawad or Sid may play gay in the movie!
# Rishi Kapoor will play a 90-year old patriarchal grandfather in the film. About that, this is what Kapoor tweeted, “Films-”Kapoor&sons” play 90 year old “Sanam re”play 80 year old. “Mera Naam Joker”played 16 and “Bobby”played 20. When am I playing my age?” It will be a role of a lifetime, that we are sure of!
#Fawad’s role in Kapoor and Sons was earlier offered to Arjun Kapoor who backed out from the film.
