Yennai Arindhaal box office collection: Ajith’s action entertainer mints Rs 65 crore in 10 days!

The Ajith-Trisha starrer is still going strong in the second week of its release

An Ajith flick is always expected to create serious ripples at the box office. But no one would have thought that Thala Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal would get such an earth shattering response from the fans. The Gautham Menon-Ajith combo has struck gold at box office, as Yennai Arindhaal made Rs 65 crore at the box office after 10 days of its release.

Now that’s an overwhelming figure for any film! There has been dip in the business of YA starring Ajith, Trisha, Arun Vijay and Anushka due Dhanush’s Anegan and ICC cricket World Cup, but that does not seem to have hampered the fortune of the film at the box office. The film raked Rs 54.8 crore at Tamil Nadu box office, and has made Rs 10.2 crore from other parts of the country.

With the international box office figures yet to revealed, I wonder if Thala’s latest flick has crossed the magical three figure mark at the box office. With Dhanush’s Anegan peaking at the box office, it would be interesting to see how long does Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal manages to hold its fort at the box office.
