The promotions of Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur has taken an all new turn with this latest gimmick. The actor along with his co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui were recently up for an exciting hammer challenge. Yes! The idea was to find out who is stronger…
So proving their strength, the duo hit a popular mall in Mumbai, gathered a set of fans and took up this promotional Boomerang challenge. Surprisingly, Nawaz was leading in the first round with an extremely powerful hit. However, the second half had Varun making up an even harder hit, and ultimately scoring a draw match. Now isn’t that one fun promotion?
What makes this even apt is how the makers merged the film’s plot to this promotional task. The Sriram Raghavan directorial is a revenge saga with Varun and Nawaz warring on angst and kill, with hammer being their major weapon.
