Shruti Haasan says no Holi!

For the Southern belle, Holi isn’t the best festival!

Holi is just around the corner and actors in Bollywood are gearing up for the festival. Many parties are being organised as usual but there’s one actress who shies away from this festival. It’s none other than pretty actress Shruti Haasan!

Shruti is an adventurous person by nature but Holi is a festival she’s not big on. And no, it’s not because of the bhang but because of the colours! The actress stated that she doesn’t like anyone throwing water at her especially that mixed with colours. Because she’s very fair and her skin is sensitive, the colours don’t wash off and she ends up with stained skin.

With so many Holi parties coming up in B-Town next week, we are sure that Shruti is going to be invited quite a few. We wonder how she’s going to get away with no colour!

Contrary to Shruti’s take on Holi is her sibling Akshara’s opinion! The actress who debuted with Shamitabh was quoted by a leading daily saying, “I play Holi with my family and friends whenever I get the chance; I don’t like missing it.” Well, to each their own right?

Shruti will be making a comeback in Bollywood opposite John Abraham in Welcome Back. She was recently seen shaking a leg with Arjun Kapoor in Tevar for the item number Madamiya.
