Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are neck-and-neck when it comes to popularity with the youth. But Shraddha is now following into Alia’s footsteps as she has planned on turning into a designer for the label Imara. Shraddha will be designing clothes along the lines of fantasy. That explains her dressed up as the Red Riding Hood and Thumbelina in the first look of the collection. The clothing line will feature a lot of bold silhouettes in desi prints.
Talking about her fashion association with Imara, Shraddha told a popular glossy, “It feels really cool to be a part of this brand. It’s called Imara, a fusion word which means strong and resilute. So, it defines who the brand is for – a powerful, independent woman.”
She has been building up the excitement for the launch of this brand on Twitter. She tweeted about having a dream which had her in a fairy-tale land and then she went on to unveil the first look of the clothing collection saying, “I can even recollect how I looked that night…#OnceUponATime”
I like the first look quite a bit but I don’t know why it reminds of Katrina Kaif from the Choc on ad! Probably, the similar fairy tale scenario. Well, take a look at the first pics from Shraddha’s new collection and tell me what you think.
