Contrary to the reports, Bhansali’s magnum opus hasn’t been postponed to next year. At least that’s what the latest grapevine suggests…
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra has been in the news ever since the film announced. While Singh is currently shooting for the venture in Jaipur, his ladylove will soon start working on the film as well. As for Ms Chopra, the babe has already shot few portions however chunk of scenes are still pending. And because of this very reason rumours have been rife that Bhansali won’t be able to meet his deadline and therefore he may push Bajirao Mastani to next year. Well, if what we have heard is true then the film will very much release this year.
Apparently, SLB has even zeroed down the release date of his much-awaited directorial venture and that’s December 18. So looks like the Ram Leela director is right on track and there isn’t going to be any delay as far as the film’s release is concerned.
Now that’s good news because most of us are eagerly waiting for this flick to hit the screens, hai na? After all, its coming together of one supremely talented filmmaker and three terrific actors. What else can a movie buff ask for?
