The All India Bakchod team is getting further embroiled in controversies
Police sources suggest that All India Bakchod did not perform the script during the live show of the celebrity roast featuring Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar which was pre-approved by the Maharashtra Stage Performance Scrutiny Board (MSPSB)! It means that the script which was submitted to the MSPSB was different from what was actually performed live on the NSCI stage in December last year.
The All India Bakchod team have already pulled down the AIB roast show videos off YouTube and have also issued a statement apologising to anyone they might have hurt due to their roast.
The Mumbai police probed into the AIB Knockout script which was submitted to the MSPSB and have arrived at the conclusion that AIB intentionally changed the script during the live show. Does that indicate that improvisations during a live show are not permissible? Most live performances often have improvised edits or minor changes to the scripts that have been submitted for approval.
14 permissions have to be acquired from MSPSB before performing a live show, all of which AIB secured before conducting the celebrity roast.
Now from what the police authorities are saying it turns out that the All India Bakchod team are caught in the web of a flawed technicality which might result in dire consequences.
