Anegan box office collection: Dhanush-Amyra Dastur starrer rakes Rs 50 crore in 10 days!

And VIP star’s golden run at the box office continues, as KV Anand’s flick hits the bulls eye, setting the cash registers ringing

Back in 2002, when a lanky boy called Dhanush made his acting debut with Thulluvadho Illamai, who would have thought that he would go on to rule the hearts of masses and box office in years to come. Going by the string of success which Dhanush has tasted in recent times, one can safely say that the Shamitabh actor is following the steps of super stardom of his father-in-law Rajinikanth. After rocking the box office with VIP last year and garnering critical acclaim for his role in Shamitabh, Dhanush strikes gold yet again with KV Anand’s reincarnation saga, Anegan. The film starring Dhanush, Amyra Dastur and Karthik has managed to mint Rs 50 crore in 10 days.

The film which features Dhanush and Amyra playing four different roles in four different timelines, seems to have bowled over the audience. The Telugu version of the film, Anekudu, which has been postponed to release on February 27, is eagerly awaited by fans and it is expected to keep the cash registers ringing.
