2014 had been a good year for Rakul Preet Singh. Not only did she make her Bollywood debut with Yaariyan, she also tasted success down south with Telugu films like Current Theega and Loukyam. It looks like Rakul Preet’s career is heading in the right track, as we hear that former Miss India contestant has bagged Mahesh Babu’s flick.
The pretty lass has her hands full with big budget films with Telugu superstars like Ravi Teja, Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Now a little birdie tells us that Rakul Preet is being considered to be cast opposite Mahesh Babu in his next flick. A source close to the film said,”The filmmakers are in talks with Rakul and the first round of discussions have been fruitful. She loved the script and we are pretty optimistic about her coming on board. If all goes according to plan, Rakul could be paired opposite Mahesh.”
Mahesh Babu, who is currently shooting for Kortala Siva’s movie, seems to have made a point to not to repeat old pairings as he acted with Kriti Sanon, Tamannaah and Shruti Haasan respectively for the first time in his last three films. If all goes well, Rakul might end up being Mahesh’s next heroine. Looks like Rakul Preet is all set to become the next big thing in Tollywood.
