So the famous Dabboo Ratnani Calendar 2015 is out and here’s what we found out…
It’s not easy to get 24 celebs on an annual calendar every year. Dabboo Ratnani has managed to do this year after year for over a decade now. Guess that is what explains that not all clicks are original. A little pressure on the mind and the internet of course helped us find where Dabboo found inspiration for Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar’s photos.
And we found these pics of Kate Moss and Paul Newman that clearly has stark resemblance with Akki and Hasee Toh Phasee actor’s recent clicks.
Parineeti’s bathtub stint was Kate Moss’ cover pic for Italian Vogue in 1995, and was taken by American photographer Sante D’Orazio. Minus book, add the specks, change tub location and TADA!!! You have Pari’s sexy legs in full display!
Coming to Khiladi Kumar’s pose, veteran Hollywood actor, Paul Newman too posed on a tricycle. Just replace Paul’s sulky expression with Akshay’s stern look and blur the background. It would pretty much be a recreation of history.
And these aren’t the only photos inspired by their western counterparts, BollywoodLife had earlier found strikingly similar pose of John Abraham from the same calendar to that of David Beckham’s.
Looks like Bollywood is not just ‘inspired’ from the west in terms of filmi plots and songs, right guys?
