Kumkum Bhagya: What makes Suresh think that Bulbul should marry him?

Suresh has always been in love with Bulbul, but the latter never reciprocated these feelings

Suresh (Faisal Rashid) was and is in love with Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) since eons. He called off his wedding with Pragya (Sriti Jha) because of his so called love. Now the man has always been civil and maintained his distance from Bulbul, because she never really liked the geeky dude, but it seems his patience is wearing thin and now he just wants what he wishes– like that is ever going to happen.

In the upcoming episodes of Kumkum Bhagya , we will see Suresh drunk at a New Year party thrown by Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia), which was also to commemorate Bulbul and Purab’s (Arjit Taneja) relationship. In his drunken state, he insists that Bulbul should marry him and reward him for his patience. He pulls her hand and misbehaves with her. Pragya tries to intervene, but Suresh is clearly not in the mood to listen. Sarla – Bulbul’s mother- slaps Suresh and asks him to get out, but the drunken man is in no state to hear a ‘no.’

Well frankly speaking Suresh needs to get it in his head that just because he loves someone, it is not necessary for them to reciprocate the feelings. In fact, he is stupid to even wait for Bulbul to love him considering she is head over heels in love with Purab. Suresh asks Bulbul why she can’t marry him instead of Purab; well I think we have the answer, rather answers, to that:

# Suresh is a geek and complete opposite of what Bulbul seeks in her life partner.

# Bulbul is already in love with Purab and the two are soon getting engaged.

# Suresh hurt Pragya when he called off his wedding with her.

# Now we know we are being vain here but Purab is better looking than Suresh, something you just can’t ignore.

# Purab is already rich and well settled in life unlike Suresh; why will Bulbul choose the later over the guy she actually loves.

Suresh needs to come out of his bubble and get real, right BollywoodLifers?
