At a recent award show Deepika Padukone bagged the Best Actress award for Happy New Year. While on stage to receive her trophy, the actress dedicated it to Kangana Ranaut.
Deepika said, “Thank you for this award, but I believe that this year belonged to Kangana. So, Kangana, this one’s for you.”
Now this was sweet for the fact that Dippy was generous enough to mention Kangana who hasn’t received a single award for her award winning performance in Queen!
But what does Kangana has to say about Deepika’s sweet gesture, you ask? Well, in an interaction with a daily, when Kangana was asked to comment on this, she said, “Yes, I heard about that, but I hope someday, she would tell me in person what she feels about my work. I would appreciate that a lot more.”
For those of you who don’t know, Kangana has decided not to attend award shows and she is still maintaining her stand by giving this award season a miss.
