Rohit Shetty has teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan for his next directorial venture is known to all. The untitled project will go on floors as soon as King Khan wraps up shooting for Maneesh Sharma’s Fan. While SRK is playing the male protagonist in the film, Shetty wants Kajol to play the female lead. Apparently, the talented filmmaker is going all out to make sure Ajay Devgn’s wifey comes on board. Rohit has even met the Fanaa actress quite a few times for the same reason however the B-town is yet to sign on the dotted line.
While talking to a leading daily, a source said, “Rohit wants Kajol to make her comeback with his film, which will go on the floors soon. He has had many rounds of discussion with the actress and is trying his best to rope her in the project.”
Initially, Kajol was supposed to make her comeback with Ram Madhvani’s directorial debut but the former backed off from the project due to financial differences. Then there were reports about her returning to the big screen with the Hindi remake of Malayalam film How Old Are You? But looks like things didn’t materialise.
Well, let’s hope they do this time around because Kajol making her comeback opposite SRK would be nothing less than dhamakedaar, hai na?
