Alone box office collection: Bipasha Basu-Karan Singh Grover starrer collects Rs 4.50 crore on it’s first Saturday!

Alone remained dull in multiplexes whereas single screens too didn’t pick up

Bipasha Basu’s latest erotic horror flick, Alone continued to show a similar stride on its second day too. The film, which marks the Bollywood debut of TV hearthrob Karan Singh Grover collected Rs 4.50 crores on its first Saturday (January 17) at the domestic box office. Alone now stands with a total collection of 9 crores at the Indian ticket windows.

Despite heavy promotions, the Bhushan Patel directorial could not start off on a good note. It remained dull in multiplexes whereas single screens too didn’t pick up much, which is quite surprising considering movies like Alone , which have a deadly combo of sex and horror usually perform well in single screen theatres.

Anyway, Alone’s opening weekend collections will be around Rs 15 crore, which is disappointing.
