Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film, Jazbaa, which is being directed by Sanjay Gupta has been in the news ever since it was announced several months back. And now we hear that the Bachchan bahu will finally begin working on the film from Monday (January 12). Yes, the actress, along with her co-stars Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher, among others, will undergo an elaborate script-reading session.

Holding such a session isn’t the norm in Bollywood, but Gupta feels that it helps the cast bond with each other before the shooting starts. “Internationally, it’s the norm. More than anything, it helps the cast bond with each other before the shooting starts. It’s a better arrangement than having the actors reach the sets and directly begin reading their lines in front of each other,” Sanjay was quoted by a daily.

Reportedly, the script-reading session was supposed to take place on January 9, but had to be delayed due to Irrfan’s ill health. “Yes, we would have got it done on Friday, but Irrfan was bedridden so we couldn’t do it. But now, we are set to go ahead on Monday,” adds Gupta.

Well, with Aishwarya finally starting to work on Jazbaa , one can expect a lot of excitement amongst her fans. Are we right peeps?
