The ace filmmaker teams up with Hansika for yet another masala comic caper
After venturing into the seldom approached horror comedy genre with Aranmanai and tasting decent success, director Sundar C is all set to entertain the audience with yet another masala comedy, which happens to be his forte. Aambala starring Vishal, Haniska is being marketed on the never before seen chemistry between the lead actors. The film also stars veteran actors like Prabhu and Ramya Krishnan, and the music is scored by rapper turned music director Hip Hop Tamizha.
The film, which is gearing for Pongal release, has revealed it’s trailer on the New Year. I took a sneak peak into the trailer and this is what I thought about Aambala trailer:
From start to finish, the trademark style of Sundar C’s direction is imprinted all over the trailer. With loads of action performed by fit and raring Vishal, and oodles of comedy added by the likes of comedians Santhanam and Sathish, and Hansika adding the oomph factor, along with Prabhu and Ramya Krishnan who bring in the family drama angle, Aambala seems to be a complete masala flick packed with punches and laughter. While Hip Hop Tamizha’s music is foot tapping, it is Vishal who steals the show in his action packed cop avatar.
