Ms Chopra, who is otherwise quite strong, broke down to tears recently and here’s why…
No it’s not her brawl with the recent award functions or any of those concerns. It’s Priyanka Chopra’s deepest grief on seeing the disgraceful attack by the Taliban militants. The actress is extremely moved seeing the heartbreaking plight of as many as 132 school children among 141, being mercilessly killed.
The actress took to twitter to express her grief. PC tweeted, “Watching tv n can’t stop crying. Cant believe how religion can be used for such a horrid act of violence. No God says it’s ok to kill! N kids?
In addition, Priyanka further spoke about the same during her recent venture to the Grazia magazine’s cover launch and said, “There are some things in life which we see but can’t express it in words. I was travelling at the time and was watching TV throughout. I was crying. It’s extremely painful and inhuman. No reason can justify this act.”
It’s not just Priyanka, other B-Town celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and more, were also shaken by the tragedy and expressed their remorse. Sincere condolences to the affected families! Period!
