Tiger Shroff to star in Karan Johar’s 21 Jump Street remake?

Here is yet another reboot of a superhit Hollywood film…

Karan Johar has apparently bought the official rights of Hollywood film, 21 Jump Street and the remake will have Tiger Shroff as one of the leads. Now isn’t that something? A source close to the project was quoted saying, “Karan is planning to start the film by mid next year. He is keen to sign Tiger Shroff who is one of the impressive newcomers for one of the lead roles.”

This will be the first time Tiger will be seen collaborating with KJo’s big banner, Dharma Productions. Speaking of which, our anticipations can’t resist but take a tour at the original plot of 21 Jump Street.

21 Jump Street is an action comedy that starred Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in leads. It essays an exciting plot of two police officials who go undercover as high school students to trap an outbreak of a new drug and its suppliers. Its sequel 22 Jump Street was out recently in June and the makers are also heading for a 23 Jump Street next year.

So, what say BollywoodLifers? Will Tiger’s heropanti manage to pull off a franchise like 21 Jump Street? Sound off in the comments below!
