Sonam ‘Good Samaritan’ Kapoor gives her designer wear away for charity

It’s time for all the fashion lovers out there to rejoice, for Sonam Kapoor – Bollywood’s official Ms Fashionista – has decided to sell her clothes to for an NGO. It is on Pernia Qureshi’s pop-up shop, a Web site with which she collaborated for this cause that her clothes will be put up for sale.

All the money that Sonam’s going to be making from these clothes will be donated to the Smile foundation that works for the under privileged children of a whole 25 states in the country. So this way, you get to live a wannabe fashionista’s dream while also helping underprivileged kids.

Here’s Sonam in her own words: “I love the outfits that Pernia and I selected from my wardrobe. I have worn these once, most probably and not more than that. It’s as good as new and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the charity. So you’re shopping and you don’t need to feel guilty about it.”
