‘Someone’s using Vidyut Jamwal’s name to create buzz for Tiger Shroff’s superhero film’, accuses spokesperson

“Vidyut Jamwal has not been approached for Tiger Shroff’s superhero film,” says Jamwal’s spokesperson, clarifying that the actor’s name is being used unnecessarily to create hype surrounding Tiger Shroff’s superhero film.

Balaji Motion Pictures has recently signed choreographer-director Remo D’ Souza to direct a film starring Tiger Shroff as a superhero. According to reports, it was Tiger’s dream to play a superhero on screen like the popular Hollywood superhero Spiderman. Naturally, Tiger just can’t contain his excitement to start shooting the film.

Now, according to the latest report from a trade weekly, Vidyut Jamwal (of Force, Commando and Bullett Raja fame), has been approached by the makers of the Tiger Shroff starrer to play the negative lead but the actor refused. We tried to confirm the story with Vidyut, who was busy shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara in Delhi and was unavailable for comment. So, we got in touch with the actor’s spokesperson, who was surprised to hear the news.

“That’s utter rubbish,” protests Vidyut’s spokesperson, explaining further, “Vidyut has been stationed in Delhi for almost a month now. He’s been shooting for Tigmanshu’s Yaara along with Amit Sadh. So, how can they approach Vidyut for a role in Tiger’s film?”

Hasn’t Vidyut turned down the film? “After the Delhi schedule, Vidyut and the cast and crew will move to Patna to shoot the remaining portions. For quite some time, Vidyut has not even been getting time to tweet as he’s totally engrossed into shooting. I feel someone is trying to use Vidyut’s name to create buzz for the superhero film, which is something serious.”
