Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani, Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos, Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan – films to watch out for in 2015!

2014 was indeed a good year for Bollywood as all the three Khans not only graced the big screen but also got cash registers jingling. However, this year Aamir won’t have a release but that’s hardly a problem coz a lot of interesting films are lined up to hit the theaters in 2015. Here’s taking a look at them…

Baby: Neeraj Pandey’s directorial venture starring Akshay Kumar looks promising and is set to release at the end of this month. The Special 26 director has made this flick stylishly and we hear with Baby Akki has raised the bar further as far as action sequences and stunts are concerned. So watch out for Khiladi Kumar in 2015!

Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Another big release this year is Salman Khan and Kareeena Kapoor starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan which has been directed by Kabir Khan. Not only Bebo and Bhai will be seen sharing screen space after a long gap, for this film the Being Human superstar has teamed up with Kabir Khan again. Now we all know what happened last time when they came together, hai na? Also, BB will hit the screens during Eid which is lucky for Salman so we are pretty sure sparks are going to fly during the festive season. So no question of missing this one, right peeps?

Fan: Shah Rukh Khan’s last two films Chennai Express and Happy New Year were typical Bollywood masala entertainers but this year King Khan will be seen in a completely hatke film and that is Maneesh Sharma’s Fan. In this one SRK plays a fan himself and we hear he will also be sporting a new look. Sounds interesting, no?

Hero remake: The fact that Salman is launching Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty with this film is reason enough to keep a close tab on this remake of Subhash Ghai’s classic. Not only there is immense buzz around the film, we have also learnt that Hero is shaping up really well. That’s not all! Rumours are rife that Sooraj and Athiya share amazing chemistry in reel and real life too. So that’s another reason why Khan’s production venture is to watch out for in 2015.

Dil Dhadakne Do: Zoya Akhtar’s film starring Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Rahul Bose will release in June this year. With such a stellar star cast, Zoya sure seems to have something good in store for us. Also, the whole ‘dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise’ story seems interesting.

Shaandaar: After Queen, Vikas Bahl’s next project is Shaandaar which features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor. Yes, Ms Bhatt and Sasha have teamed up for the very first time and going by the on location pictures which have been floating on the internet we are pretty sure this jodi is going to sizzle onscreen. Also, since Kangana Ranaut starrer Queen turned out to be a success, expectations are quite high from Vikas’s Shaandaar. Certainly can’t wait to see what the film is all about barring the destination wedding angle.

Jagga Jasoos: This big budget film by Anurag Basu stars real life couple Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif and that’s the biggest reason why Jagga Jasoos is on this list. The last time we saw RK and Kat together was in Rajneeti but things have changed drastically for the loveirds since then which is why everyone is eager to see them on the big screen including us!

Bajirao Mastani: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus is being touted as one of the biggest films of 2015. The talented filmmaker has brought on board his Ram-Leela pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh along with Priyanka Chopra for his directorial venture which is slated to release at the end of the year. After witnessing sizzling chemistry of Dippy and her beau in Ram-Leela, its but obvious that all eyes are now on Bajirao Mastani. Also, Ms Chopra is in the film which why the curiosity the level is even more. Three terrific actors and one amazing director, can’t get any better?

Tamasha: Ms Padukone will be seen opposite her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor in this film which is directed by none other than Imtiaz Ali. While we all know these two exes share great chemistry in reel life, the USP of Tamasha is Imtiaz Ali. He is one director who has always managed to come up with something new and is known to capture relationships beautifully on celluloid. Do we need to say anything more?

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo : Being Human superstar has another release in 2015 and that’s Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial venture co-starring Sonam Kapoor. Apart from Salman and Sonam joining hands for the first time, what’s interesting is the fact that Bhai is playing double role in this one. Also, Khan is collaborating with Barjatya after a span of 15 years and therefore so much buzz around the project. No wonder, everybody wants to see what Salman and his favourite filmmaker have come up with this time around.
