A notice has been issued by Exim Bank to superstar’s wife, stating to take over the 2 acre property of Lingaa star due to failure in paying the debts, granted by the bank during the making of Kochadaiiyaan
Trouble for superstar Rajinikanth doesn’t seem to end. After several distributors demanding repayment of the loss suffered due to Lingaa, and claiming the film to be a flop, Thalaivar seems to have landed in fresh trouble. And it seems like the ghost of Kochadaiiyaan failure is refusing to get off Rajini’s back.
The latest buzz is in that Rajinikanth‘s 2 acre property at Sriperumbedur is being auctioned. Exim Bank has issued a notice to Latha Rajinikanth, superstar’s wife, stating that the 2 acre property is now under their possession due to failure of paying the debts to the bank. According to the statement issued in newspaper, the bank claims that Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd needs to repay Rs 22.21, which was granted by the bank as financial assistance to Rajini-Deepika starrer animated flick Kochadaiiyaan.
Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd clarified,” Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited has borrowed Rs. 20 crore from EXIM BANK and has its own capacity and business to repay the loan. Infact the company is in the process of clearing the Loan on or before 31.03.2015 and had various discussions with officials of Exim Bank in December 2014 to settle the matter.”
Kochadaiiyaan seems to be turning out into a disaster of epic proportions for the superstar.
