It’s OVER! Bollywood’s Much-Talked About Heartbreaks and Divorces of 2014

While 2014 had a string of ‘Oh-so-in-love’ couples flaunting their relationships out in the public, there was an equal share of heartbreaks and divorces, too. Many couples parted ways and although the split was amicable in most cases, all the heartbreaks left the lovebirds hurt, heartbroken and cheerless.

A look at all the couples who called it quits in 2014.

Hrithik Roshan-Suzanne Khan

The after-effects of the big Hrithik-Suzanne split continues to haunt us. Their divorce proceedings have come through and Hrithik is now very much single and raring to go while Suzanne has moved into a new home with her two kids.

They hitched, declared their love for each other and voila – spiltsville! Harman and Bipasha were one couple that have grabbed headlines all of this year. We hope Bips finally finds her happy ending in 2015.

This secret relationship that began on the sets of Band Baja Baaraat three years ago saw its (sad) ending in 2014. Parineeti was also rumoured to be house hunting to move away from Maneesh who’s been her neighbour all these years. So, for Pari, 2015 is going to be a new beginning.

Pooja Bhatt-Manish Makhija

Pooja and Manish, who were happily married for eleven years, headed for splitsville. Just as the year was ending, Pooja Bhatt took to twitter to announce the end of their marriage. It was amicable and mutual.

Freida Pinto-Dev Patel

The Slumdog Millionaire couple who’ve made it big together called it quits, putting an end to their six-year-old relationship. Meanwhile, rumours are abuzz that Freida is seeing Siddharth Mallya.

Karan Singh-Jennifer Winget

TV couple Karan Singh and Jennifer Winget have also decided to end their marriage this year for reasons “too personal to be shared”. Looks like Karan Singh has already moved on. Word is, he’s dating Bipasha Basu. Is it true love or just rebound with Bips?
