I song Mersalaayitten: Vikram-Amy Jackson’s romantic dance number is a visual delight!

Director Shankar’s visualisation and vivid imagination will leave you spellbound

If there is a filmmaker in India who can give Hollywood biggies like Steven Speilberg and James Cameroon a run for their money, it has to be director Shankar. After collaborating with Rajinikanth in 2010 to dish out a visual spectacle Enthiran, and giving a blockbuster hit with Vijay in Nanban, the ace filmmaker is back with I starring Vikram and Amy Jackson.

After releasing spell binding trailer, the makers have revealed the first song of the film Mersalaayitten , which has already become a range amongst music lovers. With loads of excitement, I took a quick sneak peak. And BOY! I was blown away. Here is what I thought of Mersalaayitten song:

The awe inducing song tells a tale of local model played by Vikram and his vivid imagination after he hopelessly falls in love with an established model played by Amy Jackson. The song, backed by stunning visuals from extraordinary imagination of the director is a treat to watch. Be prepared for some jaw dropping fun as gym weights, motorbikes, TV remotes etc turns into Amy Jackson in Vikram’s world of imagination. Amy looks smoking hot and Vikram with his expression and dance moves add a lot of flavour to the song.
