Akhil Akkineni starts shooting for his debut flick with VV Vinayak

The youngest son of the Akkineni clan will be seen playing the lead in Vinayak’s next film

ANR’s grandson and Nagarjuna’s son, Akhil Akkineni, stormed into Tollywood with his widely appreciated cameo in ANR’s family film Manam. Ever since then, there has been a strong buzz of Akhil making his debut as lead. Though the foundation for his debut flick had been laid, the actor was tight lipped about the film.

The fans of Akkineni family were excited when it was revealed that the ace director will helm Akhil’s debut flick. Finally, the long wait for any news on Akhil’s debut film is over. The stylish actor, who is basking in the praises for his new Mountain Dew commercial, spilled the beans about the film on twitter. Akhil Akkineni went on a tweeting spree as he informed,” Good morning my dear friends, without anymore delay! On this lovely morning I would like announce that my debut film is on the go……With non other than V.V.VINAYAK ! Just got done with a small informal Pooja with close family and friends. Sorry for the long delay guys….Wishing my darling producer @actor_nithiin and Sudhakar Reddy Garu all the very best, I’m so happy to be working with such amazing people!”

His elder brother, Naga Chaitanya aka Chai, wished his sibling all the very best with a tweet saying,”Wishing my baby brother @AkhilAkkineni8 all the very best for his debut … Rock on bro ! ”love U bro”. Now that the director and producer of his debut flick are revealed, we wonder when the mystery behind Akhil Akkineni’s leading lady will be unveiled.
