Aishwarya Rai Bachchan does not need to acquire a body like Lara Croft, says Sanjay Gupta

By now, we all know that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is making her much awaited comeback with Sanjay Gupta’s film, Jazbaa. She is soon to begin shooting for the same and we also have stories around the film’s intriguing plot of Ash kicking some power packed action sequences in this Irrfan Khan starrer. But apart from that, did you expect her to play Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft by any chance?

Well, there were a few comparing Ash’s action sequences for Jazbaa to that of Angelina Jolie’s stint as Lara Croft for her 2001 film, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. But getting candid over Ash’s character from the film, Sanjay expelled all rumours of Ash losing weight or aping anyone in the film. Talking to a leading daily, he affirmed, “The film is a human drama about an ordinary person thrown into an extraordinary situation. So, it’s not like she needs to acquire a body like Lara Croft’s. I think Ash is in fantastic shape.”
