Why is Firoza Khan upset with her previous BCL team Ghaint Punjabi?

Despite lifting the trophy last season, the actress was extremely unhappy with her team mates

Firoza Khan aka Kinjal from Saath Nibhana Saathiya was one of the owners of Box Cricket League’s trial season team, Ghaint Punjabi. Though the team went on to bag the trophy, Firoza was highly upset with her team mates. Reportedly, her team did not have a very kind attitude towards her. The actress believes that it was wrong on part of the members to treat her like that given that she was among the youngest members in the team and also one of the owners. The actor said, “My former team mates did not behave well with me. I wasn’t allowed to play and was fooled just because I was a girl or may be because I was not aware of how things worked. Luckily there were a couple of mature guys in the team who knew how to behave with a woman. Both Amit Verma and Waseem Mushtaq really helped me when I was de-motivated by the other guys.”

Ms Khan is now a part of the Ahmedabad Express team and is happily so.

“Things are much better in my new squad. And we girls even scored fours and sixes here during practice. That really motivates you to get better. ” She goes on, “Had the same new squad been aback, I would have had one more squad. Ghaint Punjabi has been rechristened as Chandigarh Cubs and now has new owners- Anita Hassanandani and Rohit King. I did not try to retake the team as it was not a very good experience. But yet the pride of lifting the trophy will remain with me‍.‍”
