Vikram’s I to lock horns with Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal on Pongal?

After postponing the release for couple of times, we hear that director Shankar’s I will finally see the light during Pongal 2015

It was supposed to be a blockbuster Diwali this year with two biggies – Vijay’s Kaththi and Vikram’s I clashing at the box office. But what fans got was fizzled out Diwali as I postponed its release, letting Kaththi to rule the roost during the festival of lights. It was rumoured that the makers of I are eyeing on Christmas release and the K-town was abuzz with chances of Rajinikanth’s Lingaa, which is releasing on December 12, affecting I‘s success at box office.

Now rumour has it that after avoiding clash with Vijay and Rajinikanth, Vikram is all set to take on Thala Ajith on Pongal 2015. Yes, the speculations are rife that Vikram’s I will lock horns with Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal during festive season of Pongal. If the rumours are to be believed, given the enormity of the films and popularity of it’s stars, the fans are in for a clash of the titans at the box office.

While director Shankar’s magnum opus I starring Vikram-Amy Jackson has already made headlines due to it’s terrific trailer and chart busting music, Gautam Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal starring Ajith-Trisha-Anushka Shetty has made heads turn with it’s stunning posters and Ajith’s new look. Will we finally see a epic clash at box office which has been promised to fans since Diwali or will I postpone it’s release yet again? Only time will tell.
