Since Sonakshi Sinha couldn’t make it to Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan’s grand wedding gala in Hyderabad, she insists she’ll make up for it by attending the couple’s Mumbai reception. She reasons, “I was too busy with Lingaa and Action Jackson promotions. But I’ll surely attend the Mumbai reception. Salman is like family.”
Of course, Salman Khan is Sonakshi’s mentor, having launched her in Dabangg. Sonakshi’s absence was tittered about at the big fat wedding. While most Bollywood A-listers were Hyderabad-bound this week for the ceremony, there were other notable absentees – including, the Bachchans, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Most conspicuous being Sonakshi and her Tevar co-star Arjun Kapoor.
Reportedly, Arjun, Arpita’s ex-boyfriend, was not even invited.
Fall-out with Salman?
Some time ago, Sonakshi apparently had a fall-out with Salman after she rejected a script by his brother Arbaaz Khan. However, both Sallu and Sona dismissed the rumours. The Sinhas were even spotted at the Khan family’s Diwali party this year.
