After prolonged delay, STR’s flick will finally see the light this Christmas
It seems like eternity since last Simbu film had hit the screens. After the debacle of Poda Podi in 2012, Simbu is back after nearly two and a half years with Vaalu opposite his ex-girlfriend Hansika Motwani. While STR’s other film Idhu Namma Aalu with his other ex-flame Nayantara is gearing up for release, it seems like it is Vaalu which wins the race to box office.
After releasing the trailer along with Dhanush’s VIP in July, it took nearly four months for the makers to zero in on a release date. So finally the wait is over for all Simbu fans as Vaalu is all set to hit the silver screen on December 24,2014. The excited actor tweeted,” Midnightdubbing for #Vaalu … Very happy to c fans smiling and happy … After two long years even I miss me on screen #VaaluDec24″
Ever since the release date is out, the fans have gone gaga over Simbu’s comeback. While the songs and trailer of Vaalu released few months back, we wonder if makers can just bank on the Simbu-Hansika chemistry to promote the film. After the break up, Haniska has always avoided STR and it would be interesting to see if the duo comes together to promote their film.
