Rudhramadevi making video: Anushka Shetty’s killer action sequences are a treat to watch!

On her 33rd birthday today, the makers have released an interesting video for her fans…

The makers of Rudhramadevi have given Anushka Shetty the best birthday gift she could imagine of. They have released a Making Video Journal of the film which is an upcoming historic drama. The movie has been in the making since a long time and this making video gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the film.

The first look of the actress also looks stunning as she is seen in the get up of a queen. Shetty plays the central role of Rudhramadevi, who was one of the primeval princess of Kakatiya dynasty. On Anushka’s last birthday, director Gunasekhar released the first-look poster of the film and this year he has taken the notch a step higher by releasing this special making video on her special day.

The film boasts of a stellar star cast with superstars like Anushka, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menon, Catherine Tresa, Aditi Chegappa and Prakash Raj coming together for this historic project.

Rana Daggubati will be seen in the role of Chalukya Veerabadhra. Allu Arjun will be seen portraying Gona Ganna Reddy, a Robinhood kind of a person. “Allu Arjun’s role will go down as one of the most memorable performances in the history of Telugu cinema. His role is similar to that of Robinhood and will appeal to both the masses and the classes,” Gunasekhar told while speaking to a leading daily. The first poster had created a huge buzz for the film and it is expected that this making video will also get the necessary eyeballs.

The shooting of the film has been wrapped up finally and post production work is going on with full enthusiasm. Produced and directed by Gunasekhar, this film will head on to become the first women-oriented film in Telugu cinema history to have been made with a budget of around Rs 50 crore. The film’s music is composed by Ilayaraja, while cinematography is handled by Ajayanan Vincent and edited by Sreekar Prasad.

Wethinks the movie, which has had a mammoth making process and will finally releases in January 2015, will be a grand spectacle to watch. We can’t wait to watch the same on the big screen. Check out the video and tell us if you feel the same way…
