Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s kissing scene in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela became a much-heated talking point for weeks. In fact, RS-Dippy’s liplock is credited as Bollywood’s longest running kissing scene so far.
So when Ranveer was asked about Sushant Singh Rajput breaking his kissing record in his upcoming Yash Raj Films’ Byomkesh Bakshi, he said in his inimitable style, “I’m happy for the fact that my contemporaries are doing a good job and are giving me tough competition. I’m looking forward to the scene (kiss) that you’re referring to.”
