Some peoples lives are so dramatic despite the fact that they’ve earned quite a lot of recognition in their field that they have to be made into movies and are especially suited for the drama-filled bollywood. If there was one cricketer who had that kind of a life, it would be Azharuddin. And so, his biopic is being made…with none other than Emraan Hashmi playing the man!
Sports biopics are all the rage now, but this sports biopic has got to be really different from the rest of them…with more focus on personal life unlike the rest of them where it’s all about the sport.
Naturally Emraan Hashmi’s all excited and here’s what he’s got to say.. “The research encompasses speaking to Azhar bhai on anecdotes and moments from his life. He has probably led the most exciting life that any sportsperson could have.”
And it sure is exciting for us as well, for after so many years, we’ll finally get the answers for all the questions that we’ve ever had on Azharuddin’s complicated life on and off the field and all of it in Emraan Hashmi’s style!
