Vishal’s anti piracy campaign busts pirated DVD vendor – Watch video!

The Poojai actor has left no stone unturned to prevent piracy of Diwali releases

With the advent of technology, the art of cinema has been constantly plagued by piracy. Even though piracy is a criminal offence and strict punishment has been devised under the law, pirated CD’s and DVD’s are being blatantly circulated in the market. Well, enough is enough said actor Vishal Krishna, who took the anti piracy campaign in his own hands.

The actor turned producer has been actively promoting his anti piracy movement as he has raided shops all over Tamil Nadu in order to keep things in check. Recently, the actor and his anti piracy team showed up at a DVD shop in Tirpur, busting the vendor who was selling the illegal CD’s of this year’s Diwali releases Kaththi and Poojai . An onlooker even filmed the Poojai star in action as he raided the shop and handed over the vendor to the police.

We believe that it is the producer in him that has triggered this rigourous anti-piracy campaign. It is a welcome sign that the members of the film fraternity are finally coming out to support Vishal’s campaign, realising that one has to do everything one can to protect one’s film.
