If you’re a true romantic and have missed out on Bollywood’s mushy offerings in a long time, you’re in for a treat. Not only have these soulful romantic songs touched our hearts, they’ve also made us fall in love with our special ones all over again.

Whether you are falling in love, already in love or professing your love for someone special, we present you a song for every occasion.

A look at the top 10 Bollywood romantic songs 2014: Part II.

Tere Hoke Rehengay – Raja Natwaralal

With Arijit Singh on mic, one can expect nothing less than awesomeness. This one’s the reprise version that we’re talking about. Irshad Kamil strikes gold in the lyrics department where he describes succinctly the feeling of falling in love. The beats are light and the mush factor, high. Very lively song, can’t help but play it on loop.

Shayarana – Holiday

This one’s a soft, serene love ballad, pleasing to the ear and sounds good as long as it lasts. Arijit Singh yet again weaves magic. But, the highlight is the unique lyrics by Irshad Kamil, which will transport you to a world of pure love and emotions.

Galliyan – Ek Villain

The infectious music lifts you off your feet and makes you want to fall in love (again and again). Ankit Tiwari’s soothing voice and Manoj Muntashir’s lyrics come together to create a magical aura. An unplugged version by Shraddha Kapoor is equally mesmerising.

Maaloom – Lekar Hum Deewana Dil

Sung by Nakash Aziz, Hriday Gattani and Jonita Gandhi, this has a very retro, soothing feel to it, with some whistling and guitar strumming thrown in between. Heart-warmer.

Samjhawan – Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

The makers decided to do some lifting. Samjhawan is a rendition by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghosal, the original sung by the Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Their mellifluous voices give a hatke twist to the original. A lovable melody that is quintessentially romantic in mood.

Tu Hi Tu – Kick

A mellow romantic number, composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Fresh music, delightful lyrics – this is one of those songs you’d love on a long drive. Tu Hi Tu has six different versions and all the singers have done an excellent job.

Tera Naam Doon – Entertainment

Love is definitely in the air with the fabulous Tera Naam Doon. Sung by Atif Aslam and Shalmali Kholgade, this breezy melody is soulful, extremely touching and literally dripping with mush. What’s more, it’s got hummable lyrics and is easy on ears.

Manwa Laage – Happy New Year

Beautifully crooned in the honey-dipped vocals of Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh, the romantic track is composed by the musical duo Vishal-Shekhar. Manwaa Laage makes your heart skip a beat. The song has a dreamy feel to it, with incredible lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

Sukoon Mila – Mary Kom

The soft and super romantic number has been composed by Shashi Suman, lyrics by Sandeep Singh and sung by – again – Arijit Singh. Sukoon Mila grows with each subsequent hearing. Sounds better than the first time you heard it.

Meherbaan – Bang Bang

The song is addictive right from word go. It casts a spell on the listeners. Meherbaan hits all the right notes. It’s soulful and there are some Punjabi tadkas thrown in for good measure. The song begins on a soft note and brings out emotions of love, joy and hope as the rhythm picks tempo. Shilpa Rao and Ash King’s vocals are like a breath of fresh air.
