Shraddha Kapoor and Her Spunky Style Sense at Haider promotions

Only 22 and Shraddha Kapoor is already having people eat out of her hands. She’s made it big – on her own terms. Though her ravishing beauty, at times, belies her simplicity and down-to-earth nature, she never tries to be ‘what she is not.’ Whenever you see her, be it at a glamorous film event or at a late-night airport appearance, she’s always fresh as the morning dew.

Daughter of Shakti Kapoor, the vivacious Shraddha is one of the few actresses who exploded on the scene without much fanfare despite being from a film family and immediately went on to wow the audience and critics alike with her acting prowess. Genes, some would say. Soon, her chic style sense put her on the fashion map. Genes, again? Not so sure. Peppy, full of life and a dazzling beauty, Shraddha’s been painting the town red all of this month, going into an overdrive promoting Haider. Her outfits at most Haider events reflect her cool, easygoing attitude, happy disposition and a genuine love for clothes – not fashion. So, what does she look best in? Almost anything.

Ms Kapoor wore a floral print Miss Selfridge dress for a song launch, teaming it with blue and gold bow Kate Spade pumps and a lotus ring by Aditi Bhatt. Half up, half down hairdo and nude lips enhanced her natural beauty. Just look at her. Doesn’t she resemble a flower – delicate and dainty?

In Varun Bahl

Shraddha nailed it in this Varun Bahl look from his Winter Festive 2014 collection. She teamed the cream number with nude pumps, looking every bit a stunner that she very much is. The dress is flirty and feminine. Clothes look good on her partially due to her slim body type. More importantly, unlike other newcomers, she doesn’t try too hard to be edgy for the sake for being edgy.

In Andrew GN

For the Dubai leg of Haider promotions, it was an Andrew GN separates, which she teamed with black and tan sandals. The hair was tied into a high pony. Vibrant and chic.

In Dvf

A Diane von Furstenberg dress on the reality show, Raw Star. Ankle-strap sandals, hair pulled back in a ponytail and a wrist watch completed her look. She went understated this time. When you have skin that glows like Shraddha’s, you don’t need much make-up. That said, Shraddha has been repeating her hairstyle and minimal make-up look so often that she’s in real danger of becoming a snooze-fest. Full disclosure: we are envious of her vast shoe collection!

In Atsu

A multi-print Atsu dress that went well with a ponytail, pink lips and black pumps. Looked attractive in this one, though the waist detail was so unnecessary. Give or take a minor gaffe here and there, Shraddha is a livewire presence, always bubbling with elegance and poise. Both on and off screen. Soak in all the glory, gal. You deserve it.
