The song is high on fun quotient as the three leads lend their energy to it
The makers of Kill Dil have released a new song from their film. Nakhriley sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Ali Zafar and Mahalakshmi Iyer, is a true blue qawwali number which has been picturised on the three leads – Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar.
Nakhriley bowls you over with the unique blend of qawwali style music with cowboy style costumes and set pieces. Clad with western style hats and cowboy clothes, the camaraderie between Ranveer and Ali Zafar is catchy. Parineeti effortlessly matches steps with Ranveer who is a live wire on the dance floor. Ali Zafar who seems to be playing a second fiddle in most of the songs, finally gets an equal share of screen as Pari or Ranveer.
While the song has nothing new to offer in terms of music, but the flashy choreography, cowboyish picturisation and the chemistry between the three leads saves the song from being forgettable.
