For those of you who didn’t know, Deepika Padukone actually let go of a chance to act in Fast and Furious 7 only so she could be a part of Happy New Year! Now that wouldn’t be an easy thing to do for another actor considering how hollywood only happens once in a life time and something like Fast and Furious would happen only if you’re really lucky.
But that isn’t the case for Deepika Padukone who says, “It’s also about doing what is right. And the right thing to do was to stand by the people who you are committed to. My commitment was to Farah and Shah Rukh. I won’t say they need me, they could have got anyone for this, but they wanted me for this film (Happy New Year)and I am glad that I could work it out and be a part of this film” on the whole thing.
But then she did say that she wished the whole Fast and Furious thing happened earlier to her and that then she would have been a part of it. It’s not like she needs to worry either, because for someone like Deepika Padukone, offers always keep pouring in and we’re sure that it wont be long before another hollywood offer comes her way..!
