What’s it’s about: It’s the third romantic comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler after Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. The movie revolves around Lauren and Jim who meet on a blind date, which turns out to be a big disaster. Lauren, who is a divorcee, has three boys, while Jim is the solo parent of three girls after his wife passes away. After their disastrous date, Jim and Lauren swear to never meet each other. But fate brings them together on a trip to Africa with all their children. Will the duo get together and help blend the families or will the kids get their parents together, forms the rest of the movie.
What’s in the DVD: The special features in the DVD are a treat for Sandler and Barrymore’s fans. The specials are divided in five parts – Adam and Drew Back Together Again, which has the actors talking about coming back after almost a decade for a film. It showcases them reminiscing their time together on the previous films and often poking fun at each other. Bella Thorne’s makeover has the character Hilary going from being a tom boy to a diva. Gag Reel showcases all the bloopers during the filming of the film, which will leave you in splits. Deleted Scenes, Well we think it was a wise decision to not keep them in the movie. It’s not much in there anyway. The cast shot an extensive sequence of the movie in Georgia. The makers in fact created Africa in Georgia itself.
Why to watch: Well if chick flicks and rom-coms are your thing then this is a good one to watch.
