When Brett Lee took the bollywood route!

Yes, you read that right, Brett Lee, the hunky Australian cricketer who is already mighty popular with the Indian crowds (not to mention Indian women) has decided to make use of the popularity and jump into bollywood!

And this film which is titled ‘UnIndian’ won’t even be a sports film or something, it is a romantic comedy that will be the first feature film to be made by the Australia India film fund. His co-star in UnIndian will be Tanishtha Chatterjee who by the way is very much Indian. It is Anupam Sharma who will be directing the Brett Lee starrer and Devendra gupta and Yateendra Gupta who will present it.

So what does Brett Lee have to say about it? “I’m honoured to have been cast as a lead in the first AIFF film, privileged to be working with Anupam Sharma and humbled to be working with an actress of the calibre of Tanishtha Chatterjee” was what he said to the media.

Tanishtha Chatterjee is naturally all excited about being a part of Brett Lee’s bollywood debut and this is what she had to say, “Australia has always been a very special country for me. I love the script and I am super excited to work with Anupam Sharma and his entire team. And Brett Lee… What can I say? Look forward to having a blast, Brett.”

All we can wish is for Brett Lee to have a long road ahead for himself in bollywood as who wouldn’t love to watch someone that adorable on the big screen, right?
